Small but beautiful / Klein aber oho

One quite often neglects the beautiful small animals in the Kalahari, but they are very interesting as well. We find for example a shrew - the closest relative to elephants or a drongo, which like to sit longside the tracks and watch us.

Man vergisst oft the wundervollen kleinen Tiere in der Kalahari, die mindestens genau so interessant sind wie die großen Zeitgenossen. Wir entdecken z.B. eine Elefantenspitzmaus, der nähste Verwandte zu den Elefanten. Oder die  Trauerdrongos, die unsere Tracks säumen und uns stets neugierig beobachten.Bl-Trauerdrongo1-4-2014.jpg
